====== 2A7 Autocannon ======

This is a Soviet-designed 23x152mm autocannon used primarily in an anti-aircraft role.  In its most common deployment, the quadruple mount of the [[ZSU-23-4]], the barrel is encased in a water cooling jacket to enhance reliability during sustained fire. Some sources designate this gun as "AZP-23."

23x152mm ammunition comes in 50-round belts weighing 28 kg. Costs are per belt. Typically, ammunition belts intended for antiaircraft use have a 3:1 or 4:1 mix of fragmentation to API rounds. 23x152mm API also functions as tracer ammunition.
